Is it really October already?
I can't believe this is my first post of 2026. I'm at the stage of life where time absolutely flys by.
It's been a busy year so far across basically every dimension of my life. I had planned to write more, but that hasn't yet panned out. I've had a number of side quests this year, mostly around learning but with one experimental foray into content creation purely as a discipline exercise and exploration of long-standing curiosity.
(I didn't end up enjoying it; might write more on that later.)
I've got a couple of posts that I've been slowly working on for the past month or so, but those are still hanging out in draft status. I thought it might be good to just post something up in the interim, though, to make sure I'm not stuck in a loop of thinking everything needs to be perfect and polished before I can post it.
